Digital scans and professional packaging

Digital scans and professional packaging

A fruitful partnership

During our second visit to Re‑Art. We focused on reproducing three new paintings from Ignacio Poblet’s Golden Birds series. Thanks to Re‑Art’s high‑resolution scanners, every detail was captured: from the most delicate brushstrokes to the vibrant colours that define the Golden Birds paintings. Their expertise ensures that the digital files align perfectly with Ignacio’s artistic vision and enable museum‑quality reproductions.

We also explored how to grow our collaboration. Re‑Art actively advises us on edition management, colour calibration and certification, so the fine art prints you will soon see are not only visually stunning but also meet professional standards for collectors and museums.

The power of professional packaging

An equally important topic was packaging and shipping. Re‑Art demonstrated how they carefully roll each fine‑art print in acid‑free paper before placing it in a sturdy cardboard tube. This process protects the prints from moisture, pressure and temperature fluctuations during transport. Seeing their dedication to packaging reassures us that the artwork will arrive in perfect condition.

The photos show how the fine art prints are securely packaged, a craft we gladly leave to professionals.

Three new works from the golden birds series

The three scanned paintings belong to Ignacio’s Golden Birds series. Each depicts a different mythical bird, hovering between reality and fantasy. The bold colours, from shimmering gold to fluorescent pink, symbolize both the beauty of the Latin American landscape and the environmental pressures that threaten it. These pieces will soon appear on our website, each accompanied by a title and a short description.

A message with every print

Every fine art print will include a personal message from Ignacio Poblet. In this artist’s statement he shares his inspiration, explains the endangered biodiversity of the Peruvian Amazon and reflects on the role of his birds as messengers of hope. This way, buyers receive not just a beautiful print but also a piece of Ignacio’s story and a reminder of our mission.

This second visit to Re‑Art marks an important step in our partnership and in the journey of Ignacio’s Golden Birds series.

The beginning of our European collaboration

An encounter that instantly connected

When we first arrived at Re-Art in Almere, the team welcomed us with genuine warmth. Their passion for art and craftsmanship shone through instantly. From that first moment, it felt like more than an introduction. It marked the beginning of a collaboration where technology and art merge seamlessly.

Capturing the original

The day revolved around one goal: preserving the very essence of Ignacio’s paintings while translating them into the digital realm. The process began with a high-resolution digital capture of the original painting. During this first step, we worked with a second copy to recreate the depth and texture of the paint layers, ensuring the digital version captured the relief and movement of the original brushstrokes.

Refining the details

After the initial capture came the stage of fine-tuning. We carefully refined small imperfections and subtle details, such as tiny hearts and uneven edges, while preserving the integrity and soul of the work. This phase required true artistic precision: a digital restoration guided by an artist’s eye.

Choosing the perfect paper

The next stage focused on the tactile side of reproduction: finding the right paper. We tested several materials to see which texture and surface best captured the feel and depth of the original painting. In the end, we chose the paper that most faithfully reflects the color balance and texture of the work. This decision will guide all future reproductions.

Together, we create art that people not only see but truly feel. This first project lays the groundwork for a lasting partnership where craftsmanship, technology, and emotion meet.

More than reproduction – it’s the preservation of experience

Our visit to Re-Art showed that modern technology, guided by sensitivity and purpose, brings us closer to art. Collaboration with specialists who share our pursuit of perfection makes this possible. Together, we bring Ignacio’s work to life in digital form. Each print preserves the same spirit and emotion as the original painting.
