That is why we work exclusively with Certified Art Giclée™ prints, produced by Re-Art Fine Art Printing in the Netherlands. Re-Art is a pioneer in high-end art reproduction and founder of the European quality label Certified Art Giclée™.
What is a Giclée?
A Giclée is a museum-grade art print that meets the highest standards required by artists, museums, and collectors.
We use archival pigment inks and acid-free fine-art materials to print each piece at a resolution ranging from at least 1140 dpi up to 2880 dpi. This process creates a print so detailed and colour-rich that it looks almost identical to the original painting.
The word Giclée comes from the French gicler, meaning “to spray,” capturing the technique’s precision as the printer layers pigments directly onto fine-art paper or canvas.
Our collaboration with Re-Art
Re-Art was among the first European ateliers to master this printing technique and, in 2003, introduced the Certified Art Giclée™ label. Thanks to this certification, we can guarantee that every print:
- we produce each print using archival, museum-quality pigment inks,
- complies with the ISO 9706, NEN 2728, and Fine Art Trade Guild standards,
- has a minimum lifespan of 100 years under normal light conditions,
- and comes with an official Certificate of Authenticity.
